Introduction
Hello, Bradley here, and I am excited to have you along on this journey. I’ll keep this short and sweet. Here on my blog, my intention is to keep you abreast of the latest information in the automotive repair world, as well as information from the front lines that may help all of us take care of our vehicles. I spend hours with technicians everyday and many times I can learn information from them that may or may not be released to the public. I hope to make this blog a direct from the technicians to all of us who own and depend on vehicles.
My posts will be concise, straight to the point and as much as possible follow up with articles, service bulletins, experiences and explanations as much as possible. In keeping with Integrity, naturally we will site our sources and refer you back to the source as much as possible. There will be times that maybe I misinterpret something or get something wrong, and when that happens you will find those corrections here as well.
So where will I be getting my information? The first place will be my own observations in the field. Currently as an inspector, I have access to hundreds of breakdowns every week and can see the failures that occur across many makes and models. I see the common ones, such as cam phaser rattle on Ford F-150s and Transmission failures on Chevrolet Silverado’s (and its brothers the GMC Sierra and Cadillac Escalades). Second will be my conversations with technicians that I work with everyday. Everytime I get an opportunity to ask them questions, I do, and all of the helpful information they share with me, I will share with you. Third will be publications such as Service Bulletins and NHTSA publications. I also want to say that this is not an exhaustive list, as information comes from many directions in many forms, but I want to always be your trusted source for relevant information that you can help in making decisions about your vehicles.
